The Community-Led Design Group’s (CLDG) deputation, on behalf of three local schools, Places for Good and umbrellaed by the Sanctuary Mahi Whenua community garden, requested permission from the Waitematā Local Board to establish a small Community Garden on-site at 254 Ponsonby Road.
The CLDG made a Local Government Official Information and Meeting Act (LGOIMA) request, that sought clarification around the subsequent decisions made by the Waitematā Local Board and the reasoning behind the decision-making. We have since forwarded the LGOIMA response to the office of the Ombudsman as an official complaint.
