Te Rimutahi, the new civic open space at 254 Ponsonby Road, was developed through a community-led design (CLD) process, initiated by the Waitematā Local Board. This new community space formally opened on 17 May 2025. Anyone who would like to use the space for non-commercial activity is welcome to do so or contact the Auckland Council on the link below
