Ngā mihi o te tau hou, happy new year. The volunteer Community-Led Design Group (CLDG) is delighted that 2024 is the year the long-awaited civic space here at 254 Ponsonby Road is finally realised! The project design group has been working hard with LandLAB towards the start of the project with the enabling works planned to commence in February 2024. The project is due to be completed in November. So without a doubt, 2024 is going to be a significant milestone for Ponsonby and the new civic space.
The new civic space at 254 Ponsonby Road, will be a place of diversity and inclusion, where everybody is welcome. It will be an urban oasis that will be good for the people, good for the environment, and good for Tāmaki Makaurau.
So without a doubt, 2024 is going to be a significant milestone for Ponsonby and the new civic space.
